SNOW MUSIC BOX is a programmed melodic instrument in a box which produces melodic notes by employing a set of pins put on a rotating barrel or circle to cull the tuned teeth (or lamellae) of a steel comber.

The cylinders were regularly made of metal and fueled by a spring.
