By the 1860s, percussionists begun combining different drums into a set. The bass drum, catch drum, cymbals, and other percussion rebellious were all struck with hand-held drum sticks. Drummers in melodic theater appears and organize appears, where the budget for pit ensembles was frequently restricted, contributed to the creation of the drum set by creating procedures and gadgets that would empower them to cover the parts of different percussionists.
